How to configure an email account using Microsoft Outlook XP Open Microsoft Outlook. Select Tools and then Email Accounts

The Email Account window appears. Under E-mail select Add a new e-mail account. Select Next.

The Server Type window appears. Select either Pop 3 or IMAP depending of the type of service you have purchased (Pop 3 downloads email locally and IMAP leaves a copy of the email on the server) Select Next.

Type your name as you would like it to appear. Enter your email address other people use to send email messages to you. In the Incoming mail field enter mail.123mail.net and in the Outgoing mail field enter smtp.123mail.net Select More Settings.

Select the Outgoing Server TAB. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication. And select Use same settings as my incoming mail server. Click OK. Select Next.

Select Finish.
